Fitch Ratings has affirmed Oman Re [4]'s "BB+" financial strength rating with a stable outlook. The rating reflects the company's good financial performance and strong capitalization.
According to Fitch, the rating has not been upgraded due to the company's continued exposure to investment risk through its concentration of assets in the Omani banking system and its moderately weak business profile.
