National Life & General Insurance Company (NLGIC) has acquired 47.5% of the capital of Al Ahlia Insurance, a subsidiary of RSA Middle East in Oman.
The transaction is still pending the approval of the competent authorities and of both companies' shareholders.
The deal follows the completion of the acquisition of RSA Middle East, a subsidiary of the British group Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance (RSA), by NLGIC, the insurance subsidiary of Oman International Development and Investment Company (OMINVEST).
Established in 1985, Al Ahlia Insurance provides a wide range of insurance products and services.
