Ominvest finalizes acquisition of RSA Middle East

Oman International Development and Investment Company (OMINVEST)National Life and General Insurance Company (NLGIC), the insurance subsidiary of Oman International Development and Investment Company (OMINVEST), has successfully concluded the acquisition of RSA Middle East, a subsidiary of the UK-based Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance (RSA) group.

In April 2022, NLGIC signed an agreement with RSA to acquire its 50% stake in RSA Middle East. The other half of the capital, held by Saudi shareholders, was exchanged for NLGIC shares.

RSA Middle East is active in property and casualty insurance in Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
