According to sources close to the matter, the SCOR group is looking to sell Humensis, its publishing subsidiary which has been in financial difficulties for several years.
With an 87% stake in the publishing group, the French reinsurer has commissioned the investment bank Gimar & Co to find a buyer.
Humensis, which combines 11 publishing houses including Belin, Presses Universitaires de France (PUF) and Que sais-je?, is reportedly valued at 30 million EUR (33.4 million USD).
