SCOR to sell its Humensis subsidiary

ScorAccording to sources close to the matter, the SCOR group is looking to sell Humensis, its publishing subsidiary which has been in financial difficulties for several years.

With an 87% stake in the publishing group, the French reinsurer has commissioned the investment bank Gimar & Co to find a buyer.

Humensis, which combines 11 publishing houses including Belin, Presses Universitaires de France (PUF) and Que sais-je?, is reportedly valued at 30 million EUR (33.4 million USD).
