SAAR Vie Côte d'Ivoire and the Banque Nationale d’Investissement (BNI) have signed a partnership agreement pertaining to unemployment insurance.
Under the terms of this partnership, the bank's customers will have access to the unemployment insurance product provided by the Ivorian insurer.
This coverage ensures that employees will continue to receive their income in the event of involuntary job loss. Employees, especially those in the private sector, can often find themselves unable to repay their bank loans after losing their jobs.
This alliance will allow BNI to reduce its exposure to this type of risk.
