Oman Re received approval from the Omani Capital Market Authority (CMA) to carry out Retakaful operations on 22 February 2024.
The Sultanate's sole reinsurer is now authorized to conduct Sharia-compliant Takaful reinsurance business.
This window represents new growth opportunities for Oman Re [4], allowing it to meet the ever-growing needs of its insurers.
