AXA Mansard: results as at 30 September 2020

AXA Mansard, the Nigerian subsidiary of the AXA Group, posted a 5.4% turnover increase in the first nine months of 2020. The latter rose from 37.434 billion NGN (102.72 million USD) at 30 September 2019 to be set at 39.462 billion NGN (102.44 billion USD) one year later.

As at 30 September 2020, the net profit amounted to 5.671 billion NGN (14.72 million USD) compared to 2.11 billion NGN (5.79 million USD) a year earlier, an improvement of 168.7% over one year.

The incurred losses increased by 22.9% to be set at 14.34 billion NGN (37.23 million USD) compared to 11.665 billion NGN (32.01 million USD) in the first nine months of 2019. During the period under review, AXA Mansard is believed to have shown resilience in the face of the on-going pandemic.
