Covid-19 carpooling coverage in Kenya

carpoolingThe Kenyan insurance company British-American Insurance Company (Britam) has launched a Covid-19 policy for the customers of “Little”: a carpooling company in Kenya.

The passengers who test positive within 10 days of the last trip shall be insured for up to 150 000 KES (1 341 USD).

The coverage includes home care via telemedicine services. The insurance premium is set at 10 KES (0.09 USD) per trip.
