Increasing profit for SCOR in 2018

SCORSCOR has presented its results for the year 2018. Gross premiums amounted to 15 258 million EUR (17 452 million USD), thus reporting an increase of 7.1% at constant exchange rates compared with 2017.

SCOR Global Life and Global P&C rose by 7.3% and 6.7% respectively at constant exchange rates over one year.

Non life insurance achieved a combined ratio of 99.4% in an unfavrourable context, affected by Typhoons Jebi and Trami in Japan, Hurricanes Michael and Florence in the United States and forest fires in California.

SCOR ended the year with a net result of 322 million EUR (368.3 million USD) against 286 million EUR (343 million USD) in 2017. The company's shareholder's equity was valued at 5.8 billion (6.6 billion USD).

Regarding its capital management policy, SCOR proposed to its shareholders a dividend of 1.75 EUR (2 USD ) per share.

* The dividend will be submitted to shareholders' voting on April 26, 2019.
