Insurance brokers dissatisfied

Following the announcement to raise the capital of insurance brokerage companies to 50 million RWF (89 500 USD), brokers accused the central bank of favoring big companies. This increase is going to marginalize brokers. They also claim that control and reporting requirements are too severe. Such arguments have been rejected by the manager in charge of supervising non-banking institutions who stressed that this project has been devised by all professionals of the industry.
