Claims paid by Tunisian insurers rise in H1 2026

According to the General Insurance Committee (CGA), Tunisian insurance companies paid out a total of 1.202 billion TND (401.2 million USD) in claims during the first half of 2026, representing a 15.6% increase year-over-year.

Motor insurance accounted for the largest share of claims paid, with insurers disbursing 508.6 million TND (169.8 million USD) as of 30 June 2026.
