Partnership between CICA-RE and BOAD

The Compagnie Commune de Réassurance des Etats membres de la CIMA (CICA-RE) and the West African Development Bank (BOAD) have signed an agreement to strengthen their cooperation in the insurance and reinsurance sectors.

The partnership’s objectives are in line with the strategic plans of BOAD's “Djoliba… The Continuation” and “CICA-RE AMBITION 2029,”. They aim to :

• share technical expertise
• build team capacity
• develop insurance solutions tailored to financed projects
• promote risk mitigation mechanisms within the financial ecosystem
