Swiss Life has announced plans to cut nearly 600 jobs by the end of 2028, mainly through natural staff attrition.
Around half of the job reductions will affect Swiss Life’s operations in Switzerland, with the remainder impacting the international activities of its Swiss Life Asset Managers subsidiary.
The measures form part of the life insurer’s strategy to seize market opportunities while further enhancing operational efficiency, notably by accelerating its digital transformation.
Swiss Life will provide employees affected by these measures with individualized support and assistance in managing their career transition.
