Humana's annual profits to be hit by rising medical costs

humanaThe insurer is now expecting earnings per share to reach 16 USD in 2024 and between 22 and 26 USD in 2025. An earlier estimate had predicted earnings per share for the two years to be 29.1 USD and 37 USD respectively.

Humana's results are likely to be affected by an unprecedented rise in medical costs. This increase is expected to persist over the upcoming months.
