Tunis Re: Q1 2024 results

Tunis ReTunis Re has published its key business indicators for the first quarter of the current financial year.

For the first three months of 2024, the company's turnover amounted to 70 498 million TND (22.5 million USD), up by 14% over one year.

Non-life premiums totalled 61.576 million TND (19.7 million USD), compared with 2.565 million TND (819 430 USD) for life business. Retakaful acceptances stood at 6.357 million TND (2 million USD).

Tunis Re has thus achieved 32.4% of its turnover targets for 2024.

At 26.386 million TND (8.4 million USD), incurred losses were 28% lower than in the same period of 2023.

The financial income for the first quarter of 2024 was up by 20% to reach 7.726 million TND (2.5 million USD).
