A bill to introduce compulsory natural catastrophe insurance in Tunisia

A draft bill has been drawn up by the Tunisian Federation of Insurance Companies (FTUSA) for the establishment of compulsory natural catastrophe risk insurance. This law will allow policyholders to benefit from coverage in the event of the occurrence of a natural event (earthquake, flood, etc.).

For the record, natural catastrophe insurance is mandatory in Algeria and Morocco.
