AIA: Lee Yuan Siong to succeed Ng Keng Hooi

The Hong Kong-based AIA Group has announced the departure of its 64-year-old Chief Executive Officer, Ng Keng Hooi, effective 31 May 2020. Lee Yuan Siong will take over from Ng Keng Hooi.

Lee Yuan Siong, 54, holds a degree in finance from The University of Cambridge and is a Fellow of the American Society of Actuaries.

He began his career with the Monetary Authority of Singapore. He has held various management positions with Ping An Insurance Group of China and Prudential, UK. He is a great connoisseur of Asian insurance markets: Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Lee Yuan Siong will take over as AIA's CEO on June 1, 2020.
