AM Best confirms Trust Re’s rating
AM Best has confirmed Trust Re’s financial soundness A- rating and credit rating a-. The stable outlook on both ratings has been maintained. AM Best has justified these ratings by highlighting the company’s high level of risk-adjusted capitalization, the excellent operating performance and the successful development of its portfolio.
The technical results for 2010 have attained 18 million USD, confirming, thus, the robustness of previous years. The loss ratio and combined ratio are respectively 65% and 90%. Operating costs have risen to 25% while return on equity has fluctuated between 4% and 6%.
