Axa, focus on Asia

Axa, which has currently 17 million customers in ten Asian countries, has set a goal of 100 million customers in this region by 2030. The French insurer wishes to pursue its expansion strategy in Asia and believes that its ambitions are likely to be achieved due to the rapid population growth which should be around 4.9 billion people within 15 years.

To strengthen its presence on the continent, the group also plans to implement three of its new structures dedicated to innovation: AXA Lab Asia will be settled in Shanghai, Data Innovation Lab will be launched in Singapore and the investment funds Axa Strategic Venture will create a branch in Hong Kong.

The French group’s Asian Affairs have been experiencing an average annual increase of 25% since 2010. This growth represents 8% of the group's total turnover in 2014.

The Axa Group has currently 103 million customers in 59 countries.
