AXA, the world's largest insurer in terms of premiums

The French group topped the ranking of the top 25 insurance companies established annually by AM Best, with a total of 106.4 billion USD in net written premiums in 2012 (4.37% * compared to 2011).

With three groups in the Top 5 and four in the Top 10, Europe strengthens its top ranking, but recedes in favor of the United States and Asia.
