Bachir Baddou, member of the executive committee of the GFIA

Bachir Baddou, general manager of the Moroccan federation of insurance and reinsurance companies (FMSAR), has been elected member of the executive committee of the Global Federation of Insurance Associations (GFIA).

B. Baddou who is the first Arab and African insurer to join the organization, will represent the interests of Africa and the Middle East.

This appointment was unveiled on the sidelines of the GFIA General Assembly held on 22 November 2016 in Asuncion, Paraguay.

It is worth noting that the GFIA was created on October 9, 2012 in Washington. This federation of federations has 38 member associations representing all major insurance markets in North and south America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania.
