Big Data: Further information available to insurers
The big data, the connected objects, domotic boxes are all designed to better know the insured. The data collected then processed are used not only to define risk profiles, fine preventative measures and adjust tariffs but also to counter fraud, better manage claims, achieve customer loyalty and reignite interactions with their insurer.
The difficulty consists in the effective interlacing of the data of the policyholder and among insured. The information coming from social networks and Internet research have so far not been used.
