The regional commission for insurance control imposes sanctions

During the 80th ordinary session held in July 2015, the regional commission for insurance control (CRCA) of the CIMA organ imposed administrative and monetary sanctions to some company executives.

Main causes of these decisions are the non-payment of claims in acceptable deadlines and non-compliance with the Insurance Code’s article 13 which requires cash payment of the insurance premium when underwriting the risk.
