Drone expertise, a new technique for assessing claims
Drone expertise has become an unavoidable solution for insurers. Used primarily for large losses or where accessibility is dangerous or difficult, the new technology allows to collect more accurate data and to reduce expertise and compensation deadlines.
This tool nevertheless represents an additional burden for insurers. In France, they are obliged to pay an amount ranging between 1 000 and 2 000 EUR (from 1 194 6 to 2 389 USD) for a flight session.
