Elisabeth Monrad convicted for forgery

Elizabeth Monrad, General Re's former financial executive has been sentenced to an 18-month stay in prison for attempting to falsify AIG books.

The tribunal found that the former executive had taken part in two fictitious transactions between AIG and General Re which allowed the increase of the latter's provisions.
