Increase of non-life insurance in Senegal in 2010

The 2010 non-life insurance turnover grew by 7.9% in comparison with 2009. It rose from 64.021 billion FCFA (142.7 million USD) in 2009 to 69.089 billion FCFA (142.46 million USD) in 2010.
The main increases were reported by Colina (+108.4% at 2.486 billion FCFA, or 5.12 million USD), Sonam Mutuelle (+67.6% at 2.5 billion FCFA, that is, 5.15 million USD). With a turnover of 10.528 billion FCFA (21.7 million USD), AXA Senegal recovers the market leadership from Allianz Senegal (9.312 billion FCFA or 19.2 million USD).
