Increasing results in 2008

Despite A GDP on the rise by 16%, the Qatari insurance market has seen its 2008 turnover increase by 5% to reach 3 billion QAR (824 million USD). This poor rise is accounted for by the significant fall of underwritings in the construction and engineering classes of business.
