Insurers too slow in response to natural catastrophes

The Federation of Thai Industries, the central bank of Thailand and the insurance commission met in an attempt to incite insurers to speed up compensation for small and medium sized enterprises.

For the time being, the average time for compensation is six months. This delay puts too much pressure on companies and the different parties are endeavoring to bring compensation period down to one month .
