IRA recommends that insurers expand their scope of activity

The Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) recommends that Kenyan insurers expand their activities throughout East Africa. This call follows the signing of an agreement in the fields of supervision and regulation of the insurance business between the countries of the East African community. The insurance penetration rate in the East African region is lower than that of other regions of the continent.
