MENA zone, Africa Re targets a 9% increase within 2019

Afirca ReAfrica Re aims to record 140 million USD of premiums in Egypt, Sudan, the Middle-East and the North-African region (MENA) which represents a 9% increase.

For the record, Africa Re has totalized 128 million USD in 2018 within the same region which stood for 16% of its overall turnover.

The objective of making a 9% increase comes within the framework of the 2019-2022 action plan of the Pan African group. The latter expects an average growth rate ranging between 7.5% and 12% over that period. In 2018, the same rate hit 6.77%.
