New health coverage for the Senegalese diaspora

In partnership with the AXA group, the insurtech NomadKare is providing health insurance for the Senegalese diaspora in Europe who wish to insure their relatives living in Senegal.

Online subscription through NomadKare does not require any family relationship between the underwriter residing abroad and the beneficiary residing in Senegal.

The product is particularly designed for the Senegalese diaspora present in France, Belgium, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, Portugal, the Netherlands and Germany.

The file subscribed by a member of the diaspora in Europe on behalf of a beneficiary living in Senegal is first validated by the NomadKare platform. The latter automatically transmits the subscription to AXA Senegal, which issues an AXA insurance card. These cards are recognized by the entire AXA healthcare network.

The extension of the NomadKare model to other African diasporas is planned in 2021.
