New health insurance: the second phase of implementation process launched

The second phase for the implementation of universal health insurance plan has been launched. It will be targeting the companies of the private sector having between 50 and 99 staff members. Those companies will be required to sign up their staff and their relatives in this unique health insurance and settle the price for such coverage.

The first phase, ended last July 2016 targeted companies having more than 100 staff members. The establishment of the entire health insurance reform is due to be finalized by April 2017. Two other phases are still on the agenda before all people targeted by this obligation are covered.
