Reinforcement of the insurance sector’s regulatory devices

On the occasion of the prize-giving ceremony for the best insurance agent organized by the Kenyan association of insurance agents in Nairobi, the government called for the reinforcement of regulation systems for the insurance sector to increase the rate of insurance cover.
It is worth reminding that the insurance penetration rate remains poor in Kenya. According to the authorities, the insurers have to make insurance more accessible to citizens. Life insurance has been highlighted in view of the important role it plays in protecting and mobilizing long-term saving.
