Results of Middle East Insurance Company in 2004

Middle East Insurance Company ( MEIC) reported a premium amount of 23 million USD in 2004, 21 million of which in Jordan and 2 million in Saudi Arabia.
Last year, MEIC ranked first in the bancassurance Jordanian market. Being a partner of the AXA group, which owns 20% of its stakes, MEIC is one of the rare Jordanian companies to remain on the Saudi market after the coming into force of the new insurance regulation.
