Swiss Re: Arthur Levry, head of West Africa

Arthur Levry has been appointed head of Swiss Re in West Africa.

Based in Abidjan, he replaced Hadi Riachi and more recently Lukas Müller, who has taken over as interim head of the organisation.

A graduate of the University of Abidjan and IAE Poitiers France, Levry has an extensive experience in insurance and reinsurance in the CIMA zone markets. For more than 15 years, he has held several management positions with Colina Assurances in Cote d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Togo and Madagascar.

In 2010, he joined Kenya Re Côte d'Ivoire as General Manager and Executive Member of the Board of Directors. The appointment takes effect on 1 July 2020.
