The insurance companies highly criticized for their claims management

A report from the insurance regulatory authority has revealed that the Ivorian insurers are unwilling to settle claims, especially when recourse is initiated. The insured are generally indemnified only after the opposing party has paid the loss. In some cases, the insurers may well abstain from indemnifying their clients even after the recourses are collected. To combat this problem, a users association has launched a call center designed to assist the victims or their legal beneficiaries in their indemnification procedures.
