The life insurance deficit in South Africa

An independent survey, ordered by Life Offices Association, (LOA), has revealed the gravity of life insurance deficit in South Africa. This situation was behind the decision of LOA to launch the “Zimele” insurance plan, designed for low-income populations who account for 17,5 million people.
