The Ombudsmann, reminder of insolvent companies

Through the publication of the names of companies in difficulties, the ombudsman of the life insurance sector has inaugurated a new way of reminding the defaulting companies of the obligation to comply with the insured indemnification deadlines. In 2006, and thanks to the ombudsman's services, 5519 cases have been finalised, 78% of which were settled within 6 months.
