The State agreed to underwrite a natural catastrophes cover for 420 million USD

The Mexican State has purchased an insurance policy covering the infrastructure and the most vulnerable homes against natural catastrophes. The amount of this insurance is 420 million USD. It is the largest amount ever paid by an emerging country to guard against the disasters caused by nature.
