The age of retirement raised to 80 years in Japan

In February 2018, the Japanese government decided to extend the working age of civil servants to 80 years. The country, which is suffering from a strongly marked aging of the population, is trying to keep the active workforce as long as possible and to reduce the expenses of the pension funds.
