Algeria: CASH, development of electronic payment

The Compagnie d’Assurance des Hydrocarbures (CASH) has signed an agreement with the bank Crédit Populaire d’Algérie (CPA) aimed at developing electronic payment in the company’s agencies. CASH, which totals 30 agencies, will equip three of them in the first place, then the rest of the network in the course of 2016.

This agreement will gradually diminish cash transactions at the insurer’s windows. CPA has already set up 50% of electronic payment terminals for corporate business nationwide.
