Allianz is in total control of Euler Hermes

Allianz has increased its shareholding in Euler Hermes. It now controls the entirety of French credit insurer’s capital. The German giant, previously in possession of a 63% stake, had indeed increased its shareholding to 94.91% before acquiring the remainder of the capital that was missing.

The operation initiated in late 2017 was finalized during May 2018 by the acquisition of minority shares. The transaction is said to amount to 1.85 billion EUR (2.25 billion USD).
