Altima Assurances embarks on the "pay when you drive"

Altima Assurances, a subsidiary of MAIF, is marketing a new motor insurance product "pay when you drive".

Charged per minute thanks to a box installed in the vehicle, this cover can adjust the premium according to the time behind the wheel.

The offer targets drivers who do not exceed 8 000 kilometers per year. They can save up to 30% on insurance premiums.

Note that 30% of the French car fleet drive less than 6 000 kilometers per year.
