AM Best confirms the rating of Tunis Re

AM Best confirms the financial strength rating of B+ "good" and long-term credit rating of "bbb-" of Tunis Re.

The outlook for both ratings is stable. The rating reflects the financial strength of the company's balance sheet, its financial flexibility and an appropriate business risk management.

In addition to this, the risk-adjusted capitalization reached its highest level in 2019. The rating agency considers Tunis Re's operating performance to be adequate.

The average combined ratio throughout 2015-2019 is of 101.6% and the return on equity is of 7.8%.
