AXA Assurance Maroc completes sale of AXA Crédit to Stellantis

AXA Assurance Maroc has completed the sale of an 80% stake in its consumer credit subsidiary, AXA Crédit. The buyer is Fidis, a company fully owned by the multinational automotive group Stellantis. AXA Assurance Maroc will retain a 20% stake in AXA Crédit.

The deal also includes a partnership agreement between the two groups. Under this agreement, AXA Morocco’s insurance products will be offered to AXA Crédit customers.

With this transaction, AXA Assurance Maroc aims to sharpen its strategic focus on core insurance activities.
