Bachir Baddou, new President of the African Insurance Organisation

Bachir Baddou, general manager of the Moroccan insurance and reinsurance federation (FMSAR) and the Compagnie d’Assurance Transport (CAT) was elected head of the African Insurance Organisation (AIO).

He takes over Lamia Ben Mahmoud, President and CEO of Tunis Re.
This appointment was unveiled on the sidelines of the 43^th General Assembly of the African Insurance Organisation (AIO), which was held from 8 to 11 May 2016 in Marrakech.
