Capital increase for Jordan Emirates Insurance

Jordan Emirates Insurance Company (JEIC) has announced an increase in its capital from 5 million JOD (7.08 million USD) to 10 million JOD (14.17 million USD). A move that is likely to allow JEIC to expand its portfolio by providing it with access to risks whose insured funds are more substantial.

This plan was approved by all shareholders among which are Al Sagr National Insurance (United Arab Emirates). JEIC was set up in 1980.
