Compulsory insurance covers

Insurers are still waiting for the legislation that will impose new compulsory insurance schemes. Initially expected on January 1, 2011, the legislation has been postponed for March then September. The market professionals fear that NAICOM’s good intentions may be forgotten as is the case of most governmental initiatives.
