Ghana, Met Insurance has become Hollard Insurance

South African giant, Hollard Insurance has finalized the acquisition of Ghanaian insurer Met Insurance. This marriage, expected for several years now, will come to fruition with the change of Met Insurance name into Hollard Insurance.

Prior to the takeover by the South African insurer, both companies used to collaborate within a joint venture which made it possible to develop bancassurance products by means of Barclays Bank Ghana.
